Some of the limitations of Silk Test are given below:

1. Silk Test may not recognize some objects in a window / page due to some technical reasons.

2. Silk Test may not recognize some window frames.

3. The ‘tag’ value may get changed frequently.

4. Sometimes it will be difficult to activate some window.

5. It may be necessary to make some modifications if testing should be shifted to other browser / operating system.

6. In web based applications, sometimes, silktest will take the links as simple text.
